Accelerating Business Transformation Through IT Innovation

More than ever, business leaders around the world are expecting more innovation from their IT organizations, and they expect to drive growth through the use of modern transformative technologies.  Some 70 percent of executives say technology is “far more important” than it was just five years ago. However, only four in 10 say their IT groups are doing a good job of becoming a more strategic, responsive and valued business partner.

Accelerating Business Transformation Through IT Innovation marks the second phase of research for the Transform to Better Perform initiative. The findings of this report represent the insights and perspectives from over 250 business executives across a wide plane of disciplines in different parts of the world. Through our research, we set out to learn about how important technology is to them, who is driving change in their organizations, how they interact with IT groups, what they view as top priorities for IT, and the business impacts of technologies.
